CHIKIN-HA, the white cavern

Description

Chikin-Ha is 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen, in the Puerto Aventuras area.

We will enjoy rays of light at its entrances, permanent *halocline, and beautiful formations.

In this tour, we recommend you to enjoy it and do 2 dives. This way you will have the possibility to observe several details with attention.

We will navigate to Cenote Rainbow, here we will find the incredible roots that reach the water and rays of light, we can go to the surface, enjoy the natural environment and observe details of this cavern.

The facilities at Chikin-Ha are very comfortable, perfect if you want to take your family/friends snorkeling ans zip-line with you while you dive.

If you prefer to combine Chikin-Há with another dive, it is possible, ask our experts.

• halocline; in a water column, the halocline is a layer where we find higher salinity, this affects the density of the water, consequently our buoyancy and our vision (we will have blurred vision, produced by the mixture of salt water with fresh water).
