PONDEROSA + CHIKIN – HA (not Saturdays)

Description

Ponderosa is 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen, in the vicinity of Puerto Aventuras.

First we dive in Ponderosa has an incredible and wide open entrance, we will start the dive in Cenote Eden, from there we will cross a wide subway connection that in about 10 mins takes us to Cenote Corral, in this overture we will be surprised by a long curtain of light, perfect for underwater photography.

At the end of the line, we will turn around, return to a shallower depth, where you can enjoy the halocline, and take a close look at small fossils embedded in the wall.

The maximum depth is 14 m/ 42 feet, the whole trip is done in about 50 min.

Chikin – ha, is near Ponderosa.

Our dive will be a circuit that ends at the same entrance on the opposite side. We will start against the current, we will cross the *halocline, until we reach the Rainbow cenote.

Where the roots of the trees that reach the water, sometimes we go out to the surface, after a few minutes we continue the tour.
