Angelita and Aktun -Ha are just past the town of Tulum, it takes a little over 1 hour to get there from Playa del Carmen.
Angelita is well known for its hydrogen sulfide cloud.
It is a deep dive, for Advance divers (equivalent or higher).
30m/ 100 feet for 40 min approx.
Aktun – Ha is a cenote with a beautiful light entrance, its aquatic plants, the open entrance, and the life of this cenote, make it a special place.
15m/ 50 feet per 45 min approimate.

Description
Angelita is a popular cenote, located south of Tulum, approximately 80km/ 50 miles from Playa del Carmen.
Angelita is circular and deep, its atmosphere is gloomy and mysterious, reminiscent of a film by Director Tim Burton…
The bottom is the most spectacular part, above its mountain of sediment you can see dry trees, and it is surrounded by a hydrogen sulfide cloud which is the main attraction.
The maximum depth for recreational diving is 30 m/ 100 feet, 40 min dive.
Recommended for Advance divers (or higher certification), if you do not want to dive deep, it is better to go to another cenote, because you will not enjoy it.
The Aktun-Ha cenote is popularly known as “Car wash”, since it was once a car wash, which fortunately was able to recover.
It is now full of life. We found it on the Tulum-Cobá highway.
The entrance of the cavern with its aquatic plants, the play of light, the contrast of the dark interior with the exterior luminosity its unique.
Very good location for underwater photography lovers.
