PIT + NICTE- HA, contrast

Description

Pit is a deep cenote, Advance certification (equivalent or higher) is required.

In summer you will be at the right time, you will be able to observe the beautiful beam of light that reaches its center.

Even if you are not that lucky, it is still an spectacular cenote.

Of large dimensions, you will dive on the hydrogen sulphide cloud, dodging tree branches, you will cross the halocline, you will be able to observe the space decorated with many stalactites…

the Pit will captivate you, it is an amazing diving.

30m/ 100 feet for 40 min approx.

Nicte -Ha, means Water Flower in Maya. It has an open circular part, where there are some snorkels, the dive starts from a wooden platform.

We will dive around the cenote bordering the circular entrance, approaching and moving away from the light entrances.

Aquatic plants decorate the light entrances, which make this cenote a perfect place for photography.

There are great contrasts between light and dark. Suddenly, we encounter a strong current heading out to sea.

It is a dive where buoyancy and body position control is important, as well as the use of the frog kick, which will surely be mentioned to you in the briefing, as there is quite a lot of sediment.

Its maximum depth is 6 m/ 18 feet.
